ALOHA HAWAII

Hawaii is finally off my bucket list – and the adventure couldn’t have gone any better. It exceeded all of my expectations. Carl and I were nervous prior to the trip because of Julianna: we hadn’t traveled with her before and we didn’t know what was in store for us. Therefore, it was natural that we worried about the airplane ride, the car rides, and all of the activities that we would be doing throughout the week. We are proud parents because Julianna did AMAZING! On the way to Hawaii, she slept for half of the flight and the other half I kept her occupied with stickers. (Thank you to uncle Fredo and to daddy for letting Julianna put stickers all over your faces for entertainment on the flight). She rarely cried on the trip…much less throw tantrums. It was a bit of a challenging trip – there was a total of nine of us that went. We are so lucky to have a group of friends that don’t mind having a baby around; I really feel she added to the fun.

If you are ever thinking about going to a relaxing Hawaii trip, Maui is definitely your spot! This Island has no night life, forcing you to go to bed early. By 10PM, everything is closed. You may see a bar open, but for the most part, everyone is already at home. However, the flip side of this is that since you are in bed early, you can wake up early and explore all the wonderful things Maui have to offer. I wouldn’t have asked for anything different on this trip! Below are a few of the highlights from our trip. If you EVER need anyone to help you plan a trip – please hire my husband haha. He did the itinerary below and it was amazing. Not everything ever turns our perfect, and we didn’t follow the itinerary to perfection, but it was a solid guideline on how we planned our days and nights. From being with my family to being with friends to being in an exotic island, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I can’t wait to go back! Aloha!
