Thanksgiving Tablescape Decor
I love the holidays, and although they are exhausting to plan for, I love to decorate and tablescapes have long been a favorite of mine to assemble. Tablescapes are the perfect excuse to let my creative juices flow and go a bit extra. Last year’s Thanksgiving dinner, I had a simple backyard dinner and had the best time. This year, I wanted intimacy and wanted the decor to have a more “homey” feeling to it.
During this year’s dinner, my family and I went around the table and we said the things we were thankful for. The number one reason that I am thankful for is health. I am so thankful I get to hold Julianna… thankful I am here and well, so thankful I have my husband and my whole family. That is it, everything else is secondary. If we have our health, we are rich. I am so happy Julianna has her mom here when so many kids don’t have their mothers, and so many mothers do not get to hold their kids. In these tough times, it’s the best thing that I can have.
A few days later, we also hosted a Friendsgiving and I had the best time! Although I was running around trying to mingle with everyone, it is incredible to be surrounded by so many people that love and appreciate you. Thank you to everyone that came!
