SUMMER 2016

I have NEVER been a fan of the heat – I actually hate it. My perfect weather is mid 70’s with no sun. My opinion has changed drastically now that I have Julianna in my life. Now, I can’t wait until the weather gets warmer and the sun comes out. I am looking forward to doing so many things with Julianna out in the summer heat. I want to spend so much time with her in the water, go to the park, be outdoors, and soak it all in. I want her to explore new things with me. I want us to really enjoy our first summer together. Below is our family summer bucket list and what we hope to do. I am sure this list will only grow through these upcoming weeks but I can’t wait to get started.

Carl and I did strawberry picking when I was pregnant and I enjoyed it so much! I want to do this with Julianna as well.

I love the ocean. I just don’t like the beaches near us! The water tends to be dirty and they are not always the cleanest overall. Carl and I want to go visit new beaches. We have gone to Newport Beach and we love it there.

We love having family and friends come over our home! We love hosting and creating memories with people that we love. A BBQ is a must this summer!

I am in desperate need of a small getaway. I literally want us to wake up one morning, pack our bags and just go ANYWHERE! just the three of us. Away from everything!

We haven’t taken Julianna to the zoo and we plan to do so soon!

One of my favorite spots that I have visited has been San Francisco! I love the city and it has so much to offer…this place is definitely on my list to go to again!

Who doesn’t love a good picnic?! Need to plan and have it with friends!

We are going on vacation this summer and traveling with a toddler! (very nervous!! haha) but we will be by the beach and we want Julianna to feel comfortable in the water.

My favorite thing of all time is brunch! I would seriously skip out on lunch and dinner and be okay with brunch all day any day. I am always searching for new places to go. One of my favorite ones that we recently went to is Poppy + Rose in Downtown Los Angeles. It is a must to go to! I promise. My number one choice for brunch is the Malibu Cafe. The ambiance is amazing, and the food is amazing. It is a place you can visit the whole day. You won’t regret it. I will do a post on this place soon! It is about time to visit again. Mimosa please!
