Rustic Birthday Dinner Decor

This past Friday, my husband and I hosted a birthday party to celebrate my uncle’s 30th birthday. I grew up with my uncle – literally as soon as I was out of the womb – and we are extremely close, so I knew I had to make this night extra special for him. I wanted to share the decor since I received a lot of positive feedback. I decided to go with a rustic feel with touches of yellow. The boho-inspired floor tables are from Crowned Rentals and the beautiful floral arrangements are from my dear friend, Pretty Lil Things, All design and styling were done by me!

For dinner, my husband made a strawberry-basil bruschetta and for the main course, he made a pan-seared chicken with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach in a creamy white sauce, accompanied by jasmine rice and grilled vegetables. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the main dish (it was so delicious we didn’t even have time to take a picture!)

I have planned and decorated dozens of parties and it is something that makes me happy and something I will continue doing. My husband and I love hosting and making memories with our friends and family 🙂
