My Valentine’s Day

This year’s Valentine’s Day was extra special because Julianna was a part of it. It made everything that much brighter and filled with love. I couldn’t have asked to spend this day any differently. She brings so much meaning to life; everything I do revolves around her and my family – they are my reason for being.

On this date last year, I found out I was having a girl: I was so overwhelmed with emotion at the time. While the ultrasound technician checked for the sex, “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri played in the background. It was very emotional to hear that song because that is the same song that was played when I walked down the aisle the day I married my best friend. Tears flowed as we were told it was a girl! I had so much excitement and to actually have her here now is almost surreal.

I am so thankful for having two amazing Valentines this year. My husband is my rock: he goes above and beyond for us all the time. We are two lucky girls to have this man in our lives. Below are small memories from today. Julianna will later go to her grandma’s house while Carl and I go to the Pantages Theater in Hollywood to watch Dirty Dancing on Stage. It is my favorite movie and I am so excited to have date night with my guy.
