Dia De Los Muertos Family Celebration
Dia De Los Muertos is a day to celebrate, remember and prepare special foods in honor of those who have departed us too soon. L.A Mamacitas is all about mothers, families, and embracing one’s culture, so we planned this event to bring everyone in celebration for this very special day. It was the perfect evening and we had so much fun!! The kids danced the night away while listening to our favorite tunes and everyone shopped all of the amazing vendors that joined us for the evening. We also raffled off some gifts and everyone really enjoyed the DIY crown, hair braiding, and face painting stations that we had.
A huge thank you to Andrew from With Love Market and Cafe …they were the perfect venue. L.A Mamacitas loves our city and this cafe is the definition of a shop that loves to give back to the community. Ruby and I like to think that we just don’t bring an event together…we bring an experience, where everyone has gained something out of it, like collaborations that transpire through events. To see different brands and women collaborate together using the L.A. Mamacitas platform will always make my heart happy. I am lucky enough to have witnessed so much of this happen at our events. For everyone that attended that night, I really hope you walked out gaining something beautiful from it.
One of my favorite parts about these events is meeting and getting to know the vendors. They all have incredible stories and I love learning more about them. I want to thank them for always being so open about their journey as true Latina hustlers.
